& Returns Policy

1. Order Processing
Turnaround Time
All domestic orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday), excluding holidays. For international orders, please allow 3–5 business days of processing (Monday–Friday), excluding holidays.
Order Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed and another when it ships, including tracking details.
Please note that order processing time does not include shipping transit time.
2. Shipping
2.1 Domestic (Canada)
We cover part of the shipping cost to offer a fair, flat rate across Canada. This is why we offer flat-rate shipping nationwide. Our goal is to remain transparent and fair while giving you value. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees.
2.2 USA
For our neighbours to the south, we also offer a competitive, subsidized flat-rate fee.
USA customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes. As of now, you will unfortunately face import fees when ordering from us. We hope this can change in the future, but it is not within our control.
2.3 International
Transit Time: Varies by country (typically 5–15 business days after processing).
Duties & Taxes: International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes. These charges are non-refundable; you may need to contact your local customs office for any potential reimbursement.
We ship worldwide via courier (UPS, FedEx or other available carriers). Contact us directly for a shipping quote. Be aware that international shipping will most likely be over 50 CAD.
Note: All transit times are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, customs inspections, weather, or other factors outside our control.
2.4 Lost or stolen packages
Stonebelt Fightwear is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the carrier confirms delivery. Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout.
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable or refused, we may refund the product price (excluding original shipping costs) or reship the order at your expense, depending on the situation.
3. Returns & Exchanges
At Stonebelt Fightwear, we care deeply about our customers’ satisfaction and experience. That’s why we provide detailed sizing charts that are true and accurate to our products. While we aim to remain as accommodating as possible, fightwear apparel involves important hygiene considerations. Out of respect for our entire customer base, we must uphold these standards for all returns.
3.1 Eligibility
Return Window
For domestic orders only, you may return or exchange any unused and unwashed items within 14 days of delivery. After this period, returns will no longer be accepted.
*Exchanges may still be possible if all conditions outlined below are met.
Conditions
Items must be in like-new condition, with original tags and packaging.
Items must not have been worn for training or washed.
Gi sets must include the original carry bag provided with the purchase.
You may briefly try on the Gi or apparel to verify sizing, the same way you would in a retail store. Items must remain in new, unused condition with no signs of training, wear, sweat, deodorant marks, odors, stretching, or damage. All original packaging, tags, and included bags must also be intact and undamaged. Any use beyond a simple fitting will void eligibility for return.
At this time, we do not accept international returns or exchanges due to customs and import complexities.
3.2 How to Initiate a Return
To request a return or exchange for an eligible domestic order:
Contact us at support@stonebelt.ca with your order number and reason for return or exchange.
We will acknowledge your request and provide return instructions.
Ship the item back to the address we provide. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns. Until the package is received at our facility, the item remains your responsibility.
3.3 Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping fees.
If you received a damaged or incorrect item, we will cover return shipping and send a prepaid label.
Customers are also responsible for shipping costs when exchanging for a different size, unless the item was defective or we made an error.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
3.4 Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving and verifying the returned item. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
Exchanges
If you’d like a different size or colour, indicate this in your email request. We will ship the replacement once we receive and verify the original item, subject to stock availability.
3.5 Final Sale Items
Clearance items and marked “Final Sale” items are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel or modify your order within 2 hours of placing it online by emailing support@stonebelt.ca.
After 2 hours, we will try to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee cancellation, as your order may already be in progress for shipping. If your order has already shipped, we cannot cancel it, but you may request a return once it is received (if eligible under this policy).
