Our Promise

Authentic Fightwear built for the ones who show up - on and off the mats

Why choose Stonebelt?

Built by Fighters, Not Corporations

We’re not backed by investors or marketing firms — Stonebelt is built by real people who train, learn, and grow through the art. As a family business, we stay transparent and grounded in every decision we make.

Grounded Design. Real Intent

We don’t chase trends — every piece we release is made with purpose, not noise. Our gear reflects the quiet discipline of martial arts and the identity of those who live it, not just what's trending this month.

Gear with Meaning

Stonebelt gear is designed to last — through hard rounds, long journeys, and the quiet grind of real progress. We believe perseverance, like good equipment, is built over time — with purpose, pressure, and patience.

Proudly Canadian. Quietly Bold.

Stonebelt was born and built in Canada, with a grounded, hard-working spirit that reflects our roots. We’re proudly local, honest, humble, and built to last — while sharing deep respect for our American neighbors and the global community that shapes this art.

Our Story

Stonebelt was born out of more than just a love for jiu-jitsu — it came from a deep respect for what the fight builds in us: humility, resolve, and character.

We didn’t start this company because the world needed another kimono brand. We started it to build a family business and a legacy around something we actually care about. The hours. The setbacks. The quiet wins. All the things that define what martial arts are truly about.

As practitioners, parents, and regular people building something real from the ground up, we wanted to create fightwear that reflects what this path feels like — especially for the everyday fighter.

That’s why we keep it honest. Every piece we design is purpose-built — tested, refined, and rooted in the realities of training. No fluff. No gimmicks. Just grounded gear that looks good, feels right, and does its job so you can do yours.

Stonebelt is built for the ones who show up — on and off the mats.

Whether you’re a first-day white belt or a seasoned black belt, you know it’s not about perfection. It’s about showing up — again and again. We’re here to support that effort, to honor that spirit, and to provide gear that carries meaning beyond the roll.

Because in the end, it’s not just what you wear.

It’s what you’re becoming.

The Meaning behind "stonebelt"

In jiu-jitsu, a belt isn’t just a rank — it’s a record of who you’ve become.

The name Stonebelt represents the idea that every belt is shaped under pressure, hardened by discipline, and earned through consistency. Like stone, it’s not given — it’s formed. And like stone, the character forged through this discipline endures hardship and storm with a renewed strength of spirit.

For us, it also reflects timelessness. While styles and trends shift, the values of jiu-jitsu — humility, perseverance, and quiet strength — remain.

Stonebelt is a symbol of that journey: forged through resistance, worn with purpose, and built to last.

Our Mission

To design durable, functional, and stylish combatwear that honors commitment, strength of character, and the culture of jiu-jitsu — while remaining affordable. Stonebelt exists to support fighters of all levels by offering gear crafted with respect, consistency, and purpose — because what we wear on the mats should reflect what we’re building within ourselves.

🔥 1. Strength of Character
BJJ shapes far more than just the body — it builds patience, courage, and mental resilience. We craft our gear with that same inner strength in mind.

🧱 2. Durability and Discipline
Our apparel is built to last — just like real progress on the mats. Nothing replaces the value of consistent, well-crafted work.

🤝 3. Family and Community
Stonebelt was founded by a family united through jiu-jitsu. We believe the martial journey is rooted in community — it’s a path that’s meant to be shared, supported, and passed on.

🌱 4. Heritage and Transmission
Every training session is a chance to grow, to learn, and to build. We carry the belief that what we’re building today will serve to pass on our values into the future.

🎯 5. Simplicity with Intention
What we create is designed with clarity and purpose — to serve those who train with humility and consistency.
